Reduced domestic water consumption per capita

    What we collect

This indicator tracks annual domestic water consumption in terms of average litres consumed per capita.

    Why we collect it

Thousands of fresh water lakes draw visitors to the County of Frontenac and supply drinking water to its residents. Preserving and protecting this vital resource requires active measures, and reduced water consumption is a key driver of sustainable water supplies. Monitoring this indicator will allow us to track the success of our efforts to reduce domestic water consumption across the County.

Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
