This indicator tracks the number of water education programs in the region.
Why we collect it
The County of Frontenac is privileged to call itself home to countless freshwater lakes and rivers that attract tourist dollars and provide precious source water to much of the region. Protecting this vital resource is of the utmost importance, and by monitoring this indicator we can track our efforts to educate residents and visitors on issues that affect our waters.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
