Number of source water protection initiatives

    What we collect

This indicator tracks the number of source water protection initiatives in place in the region.

    Why we collect it

The County of Frontenac is fortunate to call itself home to countless freshwater lakes and rivers that serve as a drinking water source and opportunity for recreation. Protecting this vital resource is of the utmost importance, and by monitoring this indicator we can track our efforts to protect and manage our delicate source water supply.

Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
