This indicator tracks the annual number of septic system inspections in the County of Frontenac.
Why we collect it
Home to hundreds of fresh water lakes and unspoiled lands that draw new residents and visitors from across the region, the County of Frontenac recognizes the importance of protecting its delicate natural environment. The integrity of septic systems is essential in preventing spillage that can contaminate nearby soils and waters. This indicator will ensure an adequate number of inspections are taking place to better protect our natural areas.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
