Reduction in number of commuters driving alone

    What we collect

This indicator tracks the percentage of employed residents who drive to work.

    Why we collect it

Automobiles deteriorate roads and produce harmful emissions that affect the quality of our air. In order to diminish road repair costs and reduce emissions, the County of Frontenac aims to be an enthusiastic promoter of alternative commuting methods. Monitoring this indicator will allow us to measure our success in reducing car-based commuting.
