This indicator tracks County waste and recycling routes in terms of kilometres covered.
Why we collect it
Monitoring the distance covered by waste and recycling routes will allow us to gauge the level and effectiveness of waste management coverage. More importantly, this indicator will allow us to determine the effectiveness of sustainability projects that attempt to improve recycling levels of businesses and individuals across the region.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
