    What we collect

    This indicator tracks the number of organized extra-curricular opportunities in the region.

    Why we collect it

    Sustainable communities offer a wealth of extra-curricular activities for residents to enjoy. Such programs are a local and sustainable way to encourage healthy and active lifestyles. Monitoring this indicator will allow us to measure our success in promoting these activities for the betterment of all residents.

    Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
