    Hectares of natural areas protected

    What we collect

    This indicator tracks the number of natural areas that have been designated as protected by the Federal or Provincial governments.

    Why we collect it

    People come to live, work, and play in the County of Frontenac because of its breathtaking landscapes and pristine waters. By tracking the number of protected areas in the region the County of Frontenac can ensure more resources are preserved that continue to attract and retain residents and visitors in the area.
