Policies arising from the ICSP are incorporated into Official Plans and Zoning By-laws

    What we collect

This indicator tracks the number of ICSP policies that are incorporated into official plans and zoning by-laws.

    Why we collect it

For our community to become truly sustainable the policies and principles that stem from our ICSP must be adopted formally into law. Monitoring this indicator will allow us to gauge our success in transforming sustainable ideals into municipal policy.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
