Community character is reflected in the development of local hamlets

    What we collect

This indicator tracks the number of local developments that adhere to Official Plans.

    Why we collect it

The County of Frontenac is home to picturesque landscapes and vibrant local cultures, which are expressed in our many communities across the region. The uniqueness of each hamlet is visible in its architecture, and new developments must adhere to this for the style to be preserved. Monitoring this indicator allows us to measure our success in creating new developments that respect cultural roots and community character.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
