    Number of low income renters

    What we collect

This indicator tracks the percentage of households paying more than 30% of their income on rent.

    Why we collect it

Sustainable communities are marked by citizens who are able to provide for themselves adequately. A cut-off adopted by the County states that renters should pay no more than 30% of their income on rent. By monitoring this indicator we can track our success in ensuring employment opportunities and housing options that allow citizens to provide for themselves sustainably.
