This indicator measures the time individuals must wait to obtain affordable housing units.
Why we collect it
Waiting times for affordable housing units are a reflection of the County's ability to provide affordable housing as well as the number of individuals requiring it. Monitoring this indicator will not only allow the County to better determine its affordable housing needs, it will track the County's progress in reducing its number of low-income earners
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
