Number of children in subsidized day care

    What we collect

This indicator tracks the annual number of children registered in subsidized day care in the region.

    Why we collect it

Sustainable communities exist when the needs of all residents are met, both young and old, rich and poor. Monitoring this indicator will allow us to ensure sufficient subsidized day care facilities exist to meet the needs of the community.

Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
