What we collect
This indicator tracks the number of energy efficiency and conservation programs in the region.
Why we collect it
Reduced energy consumption is a key contributor toward decreased emissions and increased savings to rate payers. Programs that encourage efficiency and reduced consumption are one way to realize these goals. By tracking this indicator we can measure the region's success in offering programs that promote a cleaner environment and more prosperous citizens.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
