This indicator tracks the number of local fundraising events taking place annually in the region.
Why we collect it
Sustainable communities are marked by citizens who actively reach out to meet various community needs. Monitoring this indicator will allow us to track the level at which community members attempt to meet financial needs from within.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
