This indicator tracks attendance at community events, such as farmers' markets, fairs, local fundraisers, and other such occasions.
Why we collect it
Community events are an expression of our uniqueness, and attendance rates provide an indication of community engagement as well as the overall health of culture and heritage in the County of Frontenac. By monitoring the level of attendance at community events we can gauge the success of our sustainability projects that promote culture and heritage in the region.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find data for this indicator. The ICSP is a living document that relies on input from the community to continue to grow. We welcome any suggestions on data sources for this indicator, new ways to define the indicator that would be more measurable, or suggestions for alternative indicators for this focus area.
